At Precision Pilates, we teach Classical Pilates — the complete system of Contrology created by Joseph Pilates.

As third-generation Classical Pilates teachers, our lineage traces directly back to Joseph Pilates through teachers who studied with him and the generations that followed. That lineage shapes how we teach, how we train, and how we preserve the integrity of the method.

Our teaching is grounded in precision, discipline and consistent practice, developing not simply individual exercises, but an increasingly intelligent understanding of how your body moves.

The complete Pilates system

Pilates was never intended to be Reformer alone.

Our fully equipped Classical studio teaches the complete method, integrating the Reformer, Mat and the wider system of apparatus as Joseph Pilates intended.

Each piece has a purpose, and together they develop strength, control, mobility, coordination and full-body integration.

Precision Pilates is equipped with world-class Classical apparatus from Contrology by Balanced Body, Gratz, Pilates Designs and Legacy Pilates.

Classical Open Studio — in Bathurst

Precision Pilates brings the traditional Open Studio model of Classical Pilates to Bathurst — a training format found in dedicated Classical studios around the world, but rarely offered in regional Australia.

This isn’t a group fitness class.

Open Studio is a true training environment.

You work through your own individual Classical Pilates program, progressing at your own pace and across the apparatus, while your teacher observes, guides, challenges and refines your practice.

Rather than everyone performing the same exercises at the same time, each person is working on what their body and practice need.

The result is a method that becomes deeper, stronger and more individual the longer you practise it.
