Studio Etiquette.

WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO OUR COMMUNITY AND THE INCREDIBLE ENERGY YOU BRING TO OUR STUDIO

Your dedication, passion, and commitment make our space truly special. Thank you for being a part of our Pilates family!

  • Arrive Early – As a courtesy, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be permitted to join, as the warm-up is a crucial part of the session.

  • Leaving Early – Life happens! If you need to leave early, please inform your teacher before class begins. When leaving, kindly clean and organize your equipment before you go.

  • Grip SocksGrip socks are required in our studio for your safety and hygiene. If you forget yours, we have them available for purchase.

  • Electronic Devices – Please turn off all electronic devices upon entering the studio. Mobile phones and other devices should not be used during collective classes to maintain focus and respect for others. The use of mobile phones and any other device is not allowed in collective classes.

  • Footwear & Coats – We kindly ask that you remove your shoes and coats upon entering the studio and place them in the designated area.

  • Attire – Wear suitable clothing for Pilates practice. We recommend close-fitting attire to ensure safe movement and efficient teaching. Avoid loose or baggy clothing.

  •  No Jewellery – For your safety absolutely NO jewellery is allowed for apparatus classes as they may get caught in springs and straps and cause injury. For the same reasons, please tie your long hair up.

  • Please no lotion on hands and exposed skin. Please refrain from using lotions or oils on hands or exposed skin before class. This presents a slip and fall potential in many exercises, especially on the apparatus. Whilst the marine-grade vinyl on the equipment is very hardwearing, lotions and oils can seriously damage and mark the vinyl.

  • Drinks – Only water is allowed in the studio. Please do not bring glass bottles or other drinks into the room.

  • Clean up your space and don’t forget your stuff. We pride ourselves on keeping a clean, neat, and odor-free space. Everyone appreciates a fresh and tidy studio, and you can help us keep things clean and orderly by taking a few minutes after class to sanitize your apparatus and props with the wipes provided at the end of each session and returning all equipment to its original location/position so it’s ready to go for the next client. Before you leave, don’t forget to check the area around your equipment to make sure you don’t leave any of your valuables behind.

  • Cancel on time and do use the waitlist. Please cancel at least 18 hours in advance if you cannot attend. Late cancellations (less than 18 hours) will result in a forfeit of your class pass or subscription for that week. If the class is full, use the waitlist – you may get a spot!

  • Frequent Cancellations – Frequent cancellations or no-shows may lead to the cancellation of your standing appointment status. Teachers reserve time specifically for you, and repeated cancellations result in lost income.
